Association of Contingency Planners

The Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) is an international organization for business continuity professionals and provides a powerful networking and learning environment for its members. With a strong presence in North America, ACP has 43 chapters and over 2450 members. Consonus Practice Manager of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Patrick Dunn is former president of the Atlanta chapter.

CPAC

The Contingency Planning Association of the Carolinas (CPAC) is a professional peer group, which shares information, education and resources for contingency planning in North and South Carolina. CPAC supports proactive preparation for business in the event of an unplanned interruption that adversely affects the operation of the organization. Consonus Practice Manager of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Patrick Dunn is former vice chairman.

The Information System Security Association (ISSA), with more than 13,000 individual members and more than 100 chapters around the world, is the largest international, not-for-profit association for information security professionals. It provides educational forums, information resources and peer interaction opportunities to enhance the knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members. Consistently recognized as experts on critical issues in the area of information security, small businesses, global enterprises, and government organizations alike view ISSA members as an important resource. Working closely with other industry organizations such as (ISC)2, ASIS and ISACA, and leading worldwide initiatives like the recommended CISO education curriculum, ISSA is focused on providing leadership and maintaining its role as The Global Voice of Information Security.

The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc. [(ISC)²®] is the internationally recognized Gold Standard for certifying information security professionals. Founded in 1989, (ISC)² has certified over 50,000 information security professionals in 129 countries.


The MSPAlliance is a global IT organization of managed service providers and technology enablers, who collaborate to define, promote and educate members of the Managed Services Industry and the end-user community on the successful use of technology through Managed Services.

Technology affiliate North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) helps its members grow regionally and compete globally by actively connecting business decision makers, educating government officials on issues relevant to the technology industry and providing invaluable educational and executive networking events. NCTA has remained a trusted resource for more than a decade with the access and ability to influence locally and impact globally.


SIM (Society for Information Management) is an association of senior IT executives, prominent academicians, selected consultants, and other IT thought leaders built on the foundation of local chapters, who come together to share and enhance their rich intellectual capital for the benefit of its members and their organizations.

SCITDA

SCITDA (South Carolina Information Technology Directors Association) focuses on the use of technology to benefit government entities throughout South Carolina. Membership comprises an experienced group of local technology leaders interested in improving information technology, administration and management throughout the State while providing a platform for the exchange of information pertinent to the management of State information technology facilities.

Founded in 2007, the Women Tech Council is an advocate for women who are currently working for technology companies and for those who may work for businesses in other market sectors working with technology in their job roles.

This technology industry association provides leadership, resources and mentoring for women while maintaining a strong bond with the business community supporting avenues for top technology talent and visible sponsorship opportunities. It supports women-owned and women-operated technology companies and recognizes women leaders and entrepreneurs in the technology business and supporting them.
